Cedar House is situated on the banks of the River Derwent and overlooks the beautiful Hall Leys Park in the centre of Matlock. We aim to provide a homely atmosphere. | Area Description | Directions By road: From the south: along the A6. After Matlock Bath take the first right turn as you enter Matlock. From the north: Along the A6. Pass by Sainsburys on your right through the next lights take the next left in to Old English Road. Derwent Ave is at the bottom on your right. From the west: Exit 28 on the M1 follow the signs to Matlock. At the traffic island in the centre of Matlock head south toward Derby/Matlock Bath and Cromford for 150 metres and take the first left toward the river and you will find us in the quiet cul-de sac on the right. By rail: Come out of the station walk to the main road turn right and walk 100m to the 2nd turning on your left. Follow the Riverbank sign. By bus: Walk to the traffic island in the centre of Matlock go into Hall Leys park by way of the crossing opposite the Tourist Information Centre. Walk parallel to the river and cross the footbridge 100mts on your right. Turn left into Derwent Ave. |
