The building of the house was started in 1838 and completed in 1842 built for a local lawyer Edmund Davis. Earl Mount Cashell subsequently used it as a Hunting Lodge. In 1916 the Jenkins made Beryl their family home until we were so fortunate to purchase it in 1979. Since then we have lovingly restored the house and gardens and are delighted to be able to share it. br / br / br / br / Nestling in the Mendip hills one mile from the centre of the cathedral city of Wells Beryl is set in 13 acres of parkland.
