I moved here from Oxfordshire in 1987, my husband and I bought this piece of land we lived in a caravan until we built our dream home,we have planted and built everything that is here,I have 2 sons Jeremy lives in St.Ives and Simon lives in Croatia,.I have a cocker spaniel named Harry and a cat named Tushi they are very friendly and love to be made a fuss of. I enjoy gardening and watching the birds and animals in the wood,we have a family of Canada geese that come here every year and hatch their babies on one of the islands in the pond.It is very quiet and peaceful and I love living here.
It is a small rural village with small farms and fields planted with daffodils in the spring,.Lots of lovely walks over the moor and footpaths. There is a school and very old church,a womens group which holds meetings once a month, organising days out and local fetes and festivals which visitors are welcomed at.There are some coarse fishing lakes around the corner from sweetwater.
