Plas Esgair

Plas Esgair is a Grade II listed Georgian mansion located on the outskirts of Llanbrynmair in the heart of mid Wales. Set in 6 acres of garden, woodland and paddock, every room has views of the surrounding Cambrian Mountains and foothills or a view of the gardens.
The bedrooms are all individual, decorated using designer wall papers and specialist paint finishes, furnished with antiques and many feature original works of art.
House guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and woodland which contain many specimen trees, some as old as 1000 years of age.
Plas Esgair is situated on the well-known walking routes of the Glyndwr’s Way, and the Cambrian Way. For cyclists the Sustrans Cycle Route 8 known as the Lôn Las Cymru, as well as the Great Dragon Ride, are nearby. For horse riders the William Morgan Way and the Prince Llewellyn Way are on the doorstep. For fishermen there is trout fishing at Llyn Clywedog and wild trout fishing can be arranged elsewhere nearby.
